Tapton Hall is home to the Nightingale Restaurant & Bar and is one of the premier venues in Sheffield for weddings, meetings, conferencing and parties.
Located just minutes from the centre of Sheffield, our large restaurant and bar facilities combine with 9 large multipurpose rooms, and an experienced hospitality team that provide first class service and delicious food meaning that Tapton Hall is a delightful place to come, relax and enjoy your time. Whatever the occasion
As a privately owned business, Tapton Hall is very proud of our team and the hard work that they provide to ensure your event runs smoothly.
We put quality, service, value and cleanliness at the heart of everything we do. From our board of directors to heads of departments, senior staff, front of house and our kitchen team, we all work together to ensure you have a warm welcome and experience the perfect time while with us.
In 1965 the Sheffield Masonic Hall Company acquired the house, completely refurbished it, and in 1967 added the architect designed extension with its distinctive custom designed sculpted entrance facade.
The Hall now boasts extensive facilities, including car parking for over 200 vehicles and rooms of all sizes to suit all occasions (see table below)
Florence Nightingale and the contribution she made to society is fondly remembered at Tapton being commemorated in the name of our restaurant and bar.
